The Iron Giant Screen Print by Alex Hovey x Bottleneck Gallery

Today, Bottleneck Gallery and artist Alex Hovey are teaming up to release a fantastic new The Iron Giant alternative movie poster! As BNG explained, “We haven’t checked in on our old friend Hogarth in a while, so we’re stoked to revisit The Iron Giant with Alex. Alex’s print interprets one of the most touching scenes in the film, and features a handful of Easter eggs from throughout the movie. Alex’s warm color palette matches the tone of the scene, and we’re always excited to look back on Brad Bird’s animated masterpiece.”

Aeon Flux: The Animated Series Screen Print by Bruno Vergauwen x Mondo x MTV

Wow, it has been a very long time since The Blot has seen an officially licensed print for MTV’s cult classic ‘90s animated television series, Aeon Flux, and Belgian artist Bruno Vergauwen knocked it out of the park on this one! And I love Mondo’s use of foil paper to really give this futuristic dystopian saga the right look and feel.

Mutant has teamed up with artist Daniel Taylor to produce a beautiful new alternate movie poster for Denis Villeneuve’s science fiction masterpiece, Blade Runner 2049. As Mutant explained, “Dániel’s work is a natural fit for this film, elegantly weaving together its gorgeous iconography into a singular ethereal, dreamscape.”

Today, Bottleneck Gallery and artist Nuno Sarnadas take us back to Arrakis with two epic new sand worms focused Dune prints. As BNG explained, “Nuno’s newest set of prints offers one of the most unique approaches on Dune art we’ve seen with a cave painting approach to Dune’s story. Each of Nuno’s prints depicts the Shai-Hulud as revered entities, clearly marking their importance, as they tower over, and protect, the Fremen. Using repeated shapes and an incredible ancient, sandy texture, Nuno’s prints feel aesthetically in line with the rich lore of Arrakis.”

Dune: Part I (Shai-Hulud) and Dune: Part II (Lisan Al Gaib) by Nuno Sarnadas are 36”x24” hand numbered fine art giclee prints.
