As BNG explained, “Mark Englert continues his exploration of Harry Potter’s story, and takes us back to the beginning. Well, the beginning of Harry’s journey to becoming a wizard. Mark’s print emphasizes Harry’s journey, with Harry as a child rushing through King’s Cross to get to the train, with little luggage and a small Hedwig in tow, and a whole mysterious world awaiting him. Mark has worked his illustrative magic to create a glow-in-the-dark layer showing Harry’s “return” to King’s Cross as an older, more experienced wizard, alongside mentor and friend, Dumbledore!”
Platform 9 3/4 by Mark Englert is a 36”x12” hand numbered 7 color screen print with a glow in the dark layer. The Regular Edition is a timed edition that will go on sale at 12pm ET on Tuesday, April 2nd, at BottleneckGallery.com for $65. It will be available through 11:59pm ET on Wednesday, April 3rd.
