The Blot was super excited to learn that San Francisco based fnnch, one of my favorite street / mural artists, was teaming up with Bottleneck Gallery to release his very first designer art toy! As FNNCH explained, “This is a big one for me. Something I’ve been working on since 2020 and thinking about for years before. It is my first art toy. It is also my first fully 3D Honey Bear.”
Bottleneck Gallery went on to say “We’re excited to announce our first collaboration with street and mural artist fnnch. fnnch creates street art and murals using multi-layered stencils and spray paint. He calls his work “contemporary pop art”, depicting objects from both nature and everyday life.”
Honey Bear by fnnch is an 8.3” solid cast, painted resin figure, which is limited to just 400 pieces. Each designer art figure comes with a 4”x 6” signed and numbered mini print on archival pigment on archival cotton rag paper. It goes on sale at 8pm ET on Wednesday, April 13th, on fnnch’s new website fnnch.toys for $150.
