Today, Grey Matter Art is kicking off its newest Marvel Comics print series based on the amazing artwork of master illustrator, Lucio Parrillo! The first three releases in this exciting The Marvel Art of Lucio Parrillo Print Series are of these beautiful paintings of Spider-Man, Venom and Carnage. As GMA explained, “each showcase[es] his iconic painted style. Lucio's work is nothing short of brilliant, and it only gets better as he lends his amazing abilities to some of Marvel's most iconic characters.”
These three prints are of Lucio’s variant cover artwork for Marvel Comics’ Venom #1 (2018), Web of Venom: Carnage Born #1 (2018), and Amazing Spider-Man #1 (2018), which is Lucio’s homage to the 1985 Web of Spider-Man #1 cover by artist Charles Vess.
Each Spider-Man print by Lucio Parrillo is a 16”x24” hand numbered fine art giclee limited to 125 pieces. All three Marvel Comics prints go on sale at 1pm ET today, Thursday, January 13th, at GreyMatterArt.com for $50 each or $140 for a matching number set of all three prints.
