Today marks Godzilla’s 67th birthday, and to celebrate Mondo is teaming up with Toho International on a number of epic officially licensed releases! First up is the third figure in Mondo’s Godzilla Museum Statue Series. The Gojira (1954) Godzilla Museum Statue is a 1/6 scale black and white figure, which stands 7.5” tall (8.25” with base). This release commemorates artist Eiji Tsuburaya’s original design for the character.
The Godzilla Museum Statue Series is a small-scale statue line that will focus on the rich history and alternative universes of the King of Monsters, from its most iconic looks to new artist interpretations. The Gojira (1954) Godzilla Museum Statue stands is limited to 2,000 pieces. The museum-style base is removable, allowing you to display the figures on or off of the base. It will go on sale at 11am CT on Wednesday, November 3rd, at MondoShop.com via The Drop for $120.
