Now here’s a Marvel Comics print that The Blot knows will get fans from around the world’s attention! Today, Bottleneck Gallery is releasing a screen print of one of the most iconic Spider-Man covers of all time – Todd McFarlane’s cover for Spider-Man (1990) #1!
As BNG explained, “We’re absurdly thrilled to be teaming up with Acme and Marvel to release an officially licensed screen print of the first cover in Todd’s epic Spider-Man run beginning in 1990. Todd’s take on Peter emphasized Spidey’s weirder and more fun body quirks, digging into how flexible and acrobatic Peter could be with his abilities. This print is a childhood dream fulfilled for us, and we hope our fellow web-heads out there enjoy it as well!”
Spider-Man #1 by Todd McFarlane is a 16”x24” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition is limited to 175 pieces and will retail for $40, the Silver Metallic Variant is limited to 90 pieces and will retail for $50, and the Gold Metallic Variant is limited to 90 pieces and will retail for $50. All three colorways – based on the actual variant covers to Spider-Man (1990) #1 – will go on sale at 12pm ET today, Tuesday, August 10th, at BottleneckGallery.com.
