San Diego Comic-Con 2020 may be canceled, but that doesn’t mean the Summer Slime art show has been! The annual sofubi show by artists Paul Kaiju, Bwanna Spoons and Rampage Toys that typically takes place the Saturday night of Comic-Con has now been moved online. This year as part of San Diego Comic-Con / Summer Slime, Paul is debuting his newest soft vinyl figure – Baby Draco!
For its first colorway, Baby Draco has been in cast in Spicy Cod Roe “Mentiako” colored soft Japanese vinyl with slight blue glitter. This 7” tall figure with 8 points of articulation will be available in an unpainted Blank Edition ($160) and a Painted Metallic Edition ($210). Each figure also comes with Asbestora alternate parts that can be changed with heat.
But that’s not all! PK is also release a micro run of the Draco Jackelope sofubi! This figure is limited to just 4 hand painted figures and will retail for $350.
To purchase any one of these three figures ccomplete the online form that will be available on PaulKaiju.com on Saturday, July 25th, at 6pm PDT. They will be sold by raffle that is open for 3 hour and registration will end at 9pm PDT. Collectors will have the opportunity to check select from one of the three offerings on the raffle form or select “No preference”. Winners will be drawn randomly from all entries to purchase one figure and will be notified within 4 days after raffle closing.
