Later today, KAWS will be releasing his newest two character vinyl figure – “Take”! This appears to be the companion piece to KAWS’ previously released figure, “Share”. This awesome new designer art toys features the BFF hugging (or is it taking) a Companion doll in KAWS’ three signature colorways. Take will be available as a Blue BFF with a Brown Companion, a Pink BFF with a Grey Companion, and a Black Companion with a Black BFF. These colorway combinations match exactly with the Share vinyl figure. Take will go on sale at 12pm (noon) EDT today, Tuesday, June 9th, at KAWSONE.com.
A portion of all sales on KAWSONE will go toward supporting organizations that KAWS believes are making positive change happen. KAWS hopes to raise $250,000 to be shared between Color Of Change and Black Lives Matter. In addition to TAKE, KAWS will also be including a few pieces from his personal inventory, as well as a restock of the book KAWS: COMPANIONSHIP IN THE AGE OF LONELINESS.
