Today, Mondo will be releasing its first two posters for Superman: The Animated Series! The first screen print is Phantom City Creative’s brilliant gatefold art from Mondo’s 2015 vinyl release featuring the Man of Steel overlooking the eden of Metropolis, while the variant focuses on failed Superman clone, Bizarro, and his Bizarro World. As Mondo explained, “Phantom City Creative’s astonishing art shows the Man of Tomorrow watching over his home and the people he loves – and their intricate linework celebrates the “Ocean Liner Deco” design for Metropolis that producer Bruce Timm and his team of animators created as a counterpoint to Gotham City.”
Each Superman: The Animated Series hand numbered screen print by Phantom City Creative measures 36”x18”. The Superman Regular Edition is limited to 225 pieces and will retail for $50, while the Bizarro Variant is limited to 125 pieces and will retail for $75.
