Later today, Mondo will be releasing two new screen prints of Marvel’s first family, the Fantastic Four! Created in 1961 by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, the Fantastic Four revitalized the entire comic book industry. The first FF poster Mondo will be releasing is a beautiful, screen printed reproduction of Jack Kirby’s iconic cover artwork for Fantastic Four #1. The second Marvel poster is the variant cover art for last year’s Fantastic Four: Grand Design #1 by one of the best cartoonists working today, Ed Piskor.
Fantastic Four #1 ($50) by Jack Kirby (reproduction by Jon Smith) is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print limited to 225 pieces. Fantastic Four: Grand Design ($60) by Ed Piskor is 24”x36” hand numbered screen print limited to 250 pieces. Both Marvel Comics posters will go on sale at 11am CT on The Drop at MondoShop.com.
