To celebrate the Chinese New Year, Tenacious Toys has released a limited edition Red Variant of their store mascot, Danger! As Tenacious Toys explained, “red is an auspicious color for the Chinese, so we had this little dude cast in red and bagged with a festive and totally on-brand header card fashioned after the lucky red envelopes handed out this time of year.”
Based on illustration by Playful Gorilla, Danger was sculpted by Mike “NEMO” Mendez and molded, cast, finished and painted by Brian Ahlbeck of Dead Hand Toys. The Chinese New Year Edition year of the Dog Danger Bulldog Red Variant Resin Figure stands 2.25” tall, is limited to just 20 pieces and retails for $25 at the Tenacious Toys online store.
