To commemorate tomorrow’s release of Marvel’s Black Panther in theaters everywhere, Mondo and Matt Taylor are teaming up to release two killer portrait enamel pins of Black Panther and Killmonger! As Matt explained, “Tom Whalen has set a really high bar with his Marvel pins, so I had to make sure to bring my A-game, and that’s before I even get to the fact that this is probably going to be one of the biggest movies of the year. Working in pins is still a new area for me and one I’m really enjoying. It’s a challenge to try and capture the intricacies of these amazing costumes into a 1” object, but I’m super happy with how it turned out. All I have to do to make the project complete is pop one on my jacket collar and go see the movie now.”
These Black Panther and Killmonger portrait enamel pins by Matt Taylor will go on sale at a random time tomorrow, Friday, February 16th, at the Mondo online store for $10 each.
