It’s hard to believe it’s been almost exactly 10 years this month since The Blot wrote my very first blog post covering Hasbro’s Mighty Muggs! They were the very first licensed toys I ever covered here on TheBlotSays.com, and now after a seriously long hiatus Hasbro has brought Mighty Muggs back in a seriously cool updated form. Check out what The Blot likes to call Mighty Muggs 2.0, which relaunches the toy line as 3.75” vinyl figures with an exciting new spin!
You see, these new Mighty Muggs don’t just pack a mighty punch, they have a really cool head-turning super power that lets fans experience a different side (or sides) of their favorite characters. Each vinyl figure now features a push-and-turn head feature that changes their facial expressions. Hasbro already has plans to release 50+ new Star Wars and Marvel characters in 2018 and they’re kicking things off with two epic waves of Star Wars Mighty Muggs!
Star Wars Mighty Muggs Wave 1 – which is hitting store shelves now – includes Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Rey (Jakku), Kylo Ren and Princess Leia. Star Wars Mighty Muggs Wave 2 – which is coming in February 2018 – includes Yoda, Finn (Jakku) and Poe Dameron, along with the previously released Darth Vader and Chewbacca.
