Check out this gorgeous San Diego Comic-Con 2017 Exclusive Tithorea Screen Print by Kevin Tong! Kevin has been doing some amazing work with colors on his last few prints, and The Blot honestly can’t figure how he’s doing it. As Tong explained on his blog, “Tithorea is an obscure dryad in ancient Greek Mythology. Dryads are generally female tree spirits or tree nymphs who were immortal as long as their tree was alive. In addition to Greek mythology, dryads appear in various artworks, poetry (more than a few Sylvia Plath poems), and John Milton’s Paradise Lost. Tithorea has a town named after her in Greece, was considered the dryad of Mount Parnassus, and was associated with oak trees.”
