Later today, Silent Stage Gallery will be releasing its very first collaboration with Los Angeles based artist Matt Gondek! Inspired by the iconic FOX animated series The Simpsons, “Deconstructed Homer” is a perfect 3D rendering of Gondek’s signature deconstructed art style. For its first colorway, Deconstructed Homer will be released in a Pittsburgh Edition, featuring a black and yellow color scheme (just like the Pittsburgh Steelers).
“Deconstructed Homer” The Simpsons Fine Art Sculpture by Matt Gondek is cast in solid high impact resin, measures 6”h x 5”w x 5”d, and weighs 1lb. Limited to just 100 pieces, the Pittsburgh Edition Deconstructed Homer will go on sale at 11am PST today, Tuesday, May 9th, at the Silent Stage Gallery online store for $169.99.
To commemorate the bust’s release, Gondek is hosting a Pick Up Release Party on Friday, June 2nd, between 5-9pm at his LA studio. Up to 25 collectors can pick up their status, hang out with Matt, check out some of his paintings and get some sketches. To get invited to the Pick Up Release Party, you must choose the “Pick Up / Meet & Greet” shipping option during checkout, and Silent Stage will provide you with Gondek’s studio address in Los Angeles.
