Check out this really cool new screen print “Electric Eden” by Los Angeles based artist Luke Pelletier. Living in a tourist town for much of his life, Pelletier has been heavily influenced by the seasonal economies and the multi-level relationships between tourists and locals. Much of Pelletier’s art blurs the lines between celebrating and condemning various cultures. His work is filled with personal anecdotes, dark humor, both dualities & contradictions through scenes of decaying paradise. Luke uses photography, painting, sculpture, social practice, and writing to explore his moral dilemmas of romance, addiction, tourist culture, masculinity and Americana.
Electric Eden by Luke Pelletier is a 20”x24” signed and numbered 6 color screen print with deckled edges. Limited to just 75 pieces, the print can be purchased now at Pelletier’s online store for $65.
