Diamond Select Toys has announced it will be continuing its popular Walgreens exclusive line of Minimates mini figures based on the Marvel Animated Universe! With Series 3 hitting Walgreens locations nationwide this month, it’s exciting to learn Diamond Select Toys will be continuing the line with Minimates 2 Packs based on Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man and Avengers Assemble.
The Walgreens Exclusive Marvel Animated Universe Minimates Series 4 will feature four 2 packs – Deep Immersion Spider-Man with Anti-Venom, Scarlet Spider with the Green Goblin, Speed Energy Hulk (which glows in the dark) with the Squadron Supreme’s Speed Demon, and the Iron Skull (aka the Red Skull in a stolen Iron Man armor) with the Squadron Supreme’s Doctor Spectrum.
Each Marvel Animated Universe Minimates Series 4 Set includes two 2” mini figures featuring 14 points of articulation and a variety of interchangeable character specific parts and accessories. Look for this new series to arrive in Walgreens stores in Spring 2017 and retail for between $10-15.
