Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is out today and to celebrate The Blot Says is highlighting all of the epic movie posters Disney released to promote the prequel to Episode IV: A New Hope. The most surprising poster released is this “A Rebellion Built On Hope” teaser one sheet. I love the tagline and the design is fantastic. It’s just not a very Star Wars-y poster. It really looks like it should be another film, and definitely not a beloved sci-fi soap opera like Star Wars. Then again, Rogue One is really not your typical Star Wars film. It’s really much more a war film in Star Wars clothing.
Star Wars: Rogue One stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, Diego Luna as Captain Cassian Andor, Ben Mendelsohn as Director Orson Krennic, Donnie Yen as Chirrut Îmwe, Alan Tudyk as K-2SO, Jiang Wen as Baze Malbus, Riz Ahmed as Bodhi Rook and Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera. The film is hit theaters everywhere in the US today, Friday, December 16, 2016!
