Wells sci-fi classic, The War of the Worlds screen print features many of the classic elements collectors have come to expect from Delort’s iconic style: billowing clouds, spectacular lightning, huge looming entities and that beautifully menacing atmosphere. The War of the Worlds by Nicolas Delort will be available in two editions, an 18”x24” screen print and a stunning 14”x18” laser-etched clayboard.
The hand numbered screen print is signed by the artist, features a gallery stamp on the back and is printed on 270gsm Mohawk Superfine White paper. It is limited to just 50 pieces and will retail for £60. The laser-etched clayboard comes numbered with a gallery stamp on the back and includes a laser-cut stand. It is limited to just 12 pieces and will retail for £250. Each etching purchased enters the buyer into a drawing to win a 5”x5” bespoke original etch from Nicolas. Any remaining pieces will go on sale at 7pm UK time on Wednesday, November 9th, at the Black Dragon Press online store.
