Huckleberry has once again teamed up with popular contemporary artist Josh Agle (aka SHAG) to create an amazing piece of limited edition, collectible artwork for San Diego Comic-Con! Inspired by Sid and Marty Krofft’s timeless children’s show H.R. Pufnstuf, SHAG brings the series to life with a hip, groovy dance party that is vividly colorful with his mid-century modern design aesthetic. The artwork depicts nearly all of the series’ characters dancing and hanging out at Pufnstuf’s pad, while Sid and Marty Krofft look on in the wings of the scene.
The San Diego Comic-Con 2016 Exclusive “Puf’s Pad” by SHAG is a 20”x52” hand pulled 20 color signed and numbered screen print. Limited to just 150 pieces, each print comes signed by SHAG and the creators of all these wonderful characters, Sid Krofft and Marty Krofft! How cool is that!?! The serigraph will be sold at the early-bird San Diego Comic-Con 2016 price of $595 at Huckleberry’s SDCC booth #3449, with any remaining prints released after the con at the price of $650.
Along with H.R. Pufnstuf, also depicted in this beautiful screen print are from left to right: Alarm Clock, Pop Lolly, Posh Tree, Hippie Tree, Dr. Blinky, Ludicrous Lion, Chief Tree, all 5 Boyds, Cling, Clang, Jimmy, Freddie the Flute, Seymour Spider, Judy Frog, Witchiepoo, Orson, Sid Krofft and Marty Krofft.
