For their first screen print, DaVinci’s Dreams is teaming up with the acclaimed French illustration duo Stan & Vince to release this killer officially licensed movie poster for James Cameron’s iconic 1984 film, The Terminator!
As Stan & Vince explained, “When we were approached by DaVinci’s Dreams about doing a print for The Terminator the simple answer was YES! As with all poster projects we handle, we try to find the right balance between the “retro” feel, and the necessity to conceptualize a poster that would please us and the audience of today. We chose to illustrate the chase scene between the Terminator, Sarah and Kyle after their confrontation at the Tech-Noir club. Not to mention we absolutely loved the opportunity to represent the Endoskeleton, the climax of the film and the unmistakable icon of the franchise.”
The Terminator by Stan & Vince is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print. The Regular Edition features 9 colors, is limited to 325 pieces and will retail for £43, while the T-800 Variant features 9 colors, is limited to 175 pieces and will retail for £55. There is also a super rare Tech-Noir Ultra Variant, which features 10 colors (including 1 metallic ink applied to the Endoskeleton), is limited to just 50 pieces and will retail for £75. All three editions will go on sale at 4pm GMT this Monday, March 7th, at the new DaVinci’s Dreams online store.
