This is without a doubt the most misleading movie poster The Blot has ever seen and I love everything about it! I seriously could not stop laughing when I learned FOX has released Deadpool posters advertising the Marvel X-Men film as a romantic drama released specifically on Valentine’s Day.
While the facts on the movie banner above are all correct – yes, it’s called Deadpool, stars Ryan Reynolds and Morena Baccarin and opens on V-Day weekend – there is nothing about this film that’s a romantic drama. I just want to know if this unintentionally fooled anyone? Can you imagine a happy couple on a Valentine’s Day date walking into Deadpool and expecting The Notebook!?! Deadpool opens in theaters everywhere on Friday, February 12, 2016.
