To kick off 2016, Mondo is releasing a killer new movie poster by Laurent Durieux for the greatest superhero films of our time, Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight! This screen print was originally set to be released at a screening of the film at the Alamo Drafthouse last September, but was unfortunately unable to happen in time. That audience’s loss is our gain!
Durieux’ The Dark Knight design features Batman standing tall amidst the chaos and mayhem that's been brought to Gotham City by The Joker. As Laurent explains, “The Dark Knight is such a great film, and most certainly is my favorite of Nolan's trilogy. I hope I did it justice. A lot of TLC went into it in the hope I would. Thank you Mondo for this great opportunity!”
The Dark Knight by Laurent Durieux is a hand numbered screen print. The Standard Edition measures 24”x36”, is limited to 425 pieces and will retail for $60, while the Vertical Variant measures 36”x24”, is limited to just 225 pieces and will retail for $90. Both prints go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, January 7th, at the Mondo online store.
