Acclaimed graphic designer Ty Mattson has just released a really striking, officially licensed Star Wars screen print series celebrating the original trilogy!!! Mattson wanted to combine his appreciation for mid-century modern design with his passion for Star Wars, which blossomed into this epic Star Wars Modern series. Produced in association with Acme Archives, Ty has created three movie posters for each film, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Each Star Wars Modern screen print by Ty Mattson is available in two sizes, 18”x24” and 8”x10”, and come printed on 100lb French Paper by Vahallah Studios. The run size of each 18”x24” print varies from between 225 pieces to 475 pieces, every print comes signed and numbered by the artist, and most (but not all) feature a metallic ink. These larger, limited edition prints retail for $50 or you can purchase a complete set of nine prints for $400!
The 8”x10” Star Wars Modern screen prints are only available as three piece sets. These smaller prints are open edition and unsigned.
