DC Collectibles’ has unveiled the third artist in its popular “Designer Series” action figure toy line, and its Eisner Award-winning artist Darwyn Cooke!!! The Blot loves Cooke’s unique art style – it’s the perfect mix of retro cool and cartoony fun – and DC Collectibles has done amazing job translating it into poseable action figures. But what’s really exciting about The Darwyn Cooke Designer Series Action Figures Wave 1 is the inclusion of Adam Strange! Finally DC Comics’ amazing roster of B and C-list heroes get a little shine in the Designer Series.
The Darwyn Cooke Designer Series Wave 1 includes Batman, Supergirl (with Krypto and Streaky the Supercat), Harley Quinn and Adam Strange. Each action figure stands 6.6”-6.75” tall, features multiple points of articulation, and comes packaged on a blister card. While this wave of figures is not expected to hit store shelves until June 2016, you can pre-order all four figures now from Entertainment Earth for $23.99 each here.
