The Marvel Animated Universe is expanding exclusively at Walgreens! With Marvel Animated Minimates Series 1.5 in stores this holiday season, Diamond Select Toys has announced a MAU Minimates Series 2 of the Walgreens exclusive mini figure toy line. This all new assortment features two-packs from Marvel’s popular cartoons Avengers Assemble, Guardians of the Galaxy and Ultimate Spider-Man.
Marvel Animated Universe Minimates Series 2 features four 2 packs: from Avengers Assemble, “Dark Avengers” Thor with his hammer Mjolnir and an alternate helmetless hair piece, and Thanos, the universe-conquering Titan; from Guardians of the Galaxy, Gamora with her sword and Drax with his knives and baby Groot; from Avengers Assemble, “Dark Avengers” Iron Man with a removable helmet, and Black Widow with her shock batons; and from Ultimate Spider-Man, Iron Spider-Man with an interchangeable unmasked head, and Taskmaster with his sword and shield.
Each Marvel Animated Universe Minimates Series 2 Set includes two 2” mini figures featuring 14 points of articulation and a variety of interchangeable character specific parts and accessories. Look for each 2 pack of figures to arrive in Walgreens stores in early 2016 and retail for between $10-15.
