While Gotham Season 1 wasn’t perfect, it certainly was enjoyable to watch. The Blot actually liked it more as the season went along. If only that young Bruce Wayne wasn’t such a baby! How is that kid expected to turn into DC Comics' Dark Knight!?! Season 2 sounds as though it might be even better as it shifts its focus even more heavily (if that’s even possible) on the city of Gotham’s wacky cast of criminals and future costumed villains.
What’s really interesting about the Gotham Season 2 banner above is that Erin Richards’ Barbara Kean is included with all of the “villains” to the right of Ben McKenzie’ James Gordon. A sign of even more things to come with Ms. Kean? It also speaks volumes that James Frain’s Theo Galavan and Jessica Lucas’ Tabitha Galavan (aka The Tigress) have been included in both Gotham Season 2 “Rise of the Villains” teaser posters. I guess they will be taking the place of some of show’s other “big” criminals who have since left the Gotham cast.
Gotham Season 2 premieres Monday, September 21st, at 8/7c on FOX.
