Earlier this week The CW released a surprise first look at The Flash’s new costume for Season 2 of the hit DC Comics television show. When The Blot first heard about this new costume I was really pumped. Rumor had it the show finally corrected the Flash logo on his chest by making the circle white (which they did!) and gave the costume a slightly tweaked color scheme that more closely resembles the comic books.
From the heavily distorted photo above it looks like The Flash TV series hit a home run with its costume 2.0. My only complaint is they kept the terrible and unnecessary New 52 inspired lines on his cowl. If only they’d get rid of those!!! Now I just need to know if they’ve finally given Barry Allen his signature yellow boots and his classic Flash look will be complete. Guess we’ll find out soon…
