This past Friday Mondo hosted the opening reception for Tom Whalen’s amazing solo show, Pulp Menagerie, and today they will be releasing the first batch of prints (and other goodies) from the show! Along with some awesome movie posters for films like The Boxtrolls, High Noon and Mad Monster Party, Mondo will also be releasing this perfect in every way X-Men: Days of Future Past screen print. Based on the iconic two issue 1981 X-Men storyline by Chris Claremont and John Byrne (as opposed to the feature film), this design features the ‘80s era X-Men and their counterparts from a potential future timeline overrun by mutant hunting Sentinels.
X-Men: Days of Future Past by Tom Whalen is an 18”x24” signed and numbered screen print. The Standard Edition is limited to 325 pieces and will retail for $45, while the Variant is limited to 150 pieces and will retail for $65. Both prints and so much more will go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, May 28th, at the Mondo online store.
