Gentle Giant just unveiled its newest line of jumbo vintage action figures, and this time they’ve turned their sights on Hasbro’s classic G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toy line! The G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Jumbo Action Figure line features reproductions of the original 3 ¾” figures, using digital scanning and outputting to create an exact replica…only larger. Each figure will be reproduced using roto and injection molding and will be made of durable plastics.
To kick off this new toy line, Gentle Giant will be releasing G.I. Joe Machine Gunner, Code Name: Rock ‘N Roll! Rock ‘N Roll was one of the first figures released in the series that started back in 1982, and now he’s the first figure in an ongoing new series of jumbo G.I. Joe figures.
The G.I. Joe 12” Jumbo Vintage Hasbro Rock ‘N Roll action figure by Gentle Giant comes with his signature M60 machine gun and comes packaged on a blister card featuring photos and artwork from the original packaging, and the character’s file card on the back. While this fully articulated action figure is not expected to be released until July 2015, but it can be pre-ordered through Entertainment Earth for $89.99 here.
