Disney released Star Wars Vinylmation Series 4 earlier this summer, but you can still find some blind boxes at Disney Stores everywhere! Series 3 is based entirely on Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, and is chock full of characters we first met on Hoth and Cloud City. The Blot’s especially excited about all the bounty hunters in this set! Star Wars Vinylmation Series 4 is a limited edition release sold blind box style beginning for $12.95 each.
Star Wars Vinylmation Series 4 includes Hoth Luke Skywalker, Hoth Han Solo, Tauntaun, Bespin Leia Organa, Dagobah R2-D2, Snowtrooper, Ugnaught, Bossk, Dengar, 4-Lom and Zuckuss. Rumor has it there are two mystery chasers, a “Wampa Attacked” Hoth Luke Skywalker and a Wampa.
Series 4 looks great, what The Blot is really excited about is the Boba Fett Combo Topper Pack, which includes an ESB Boba Fett with the all white “Prototype” Boba Fett based on the designs by Ralph McQuarrie. This open run release went on sale July 4th and retails for $24.95.
Next up is the Luke and Yoda 2 pack, which includes a full sized Luke 3” Vinylmation figure with a Yoda 1.5” Vinylmaton Jr. figure. Designed by Casey Jones, this set is limited to just 2,000 pieces and retails for $29.95.
Disney is also releasing its second 9” Star Wars Vinylmation figure. The Rancor 9” Star Wars Vinylmation figure from Return of the Jedi includes a 3” Rancor Keeper Vinylmation figure, has a limited edition run size of 1,000 figures and retails for $59.95.
Another Star Wars Vinylmation tie-in release is this Hologram Emperor Palpatine 3” Vinylmation. It is limited to 2,000 pieces and retails for $16.95 each.
Last but not least is the Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope Vinylmation 2 Pack featuring a Jawa and R5-D4 astromech droid. These 3” figure set is limited to 2,000 pieces and retails for $29.95 per set.
