The Blot was recently introduced to the Strange Kids Club, an online hang out for goofballs, geeks and nostalgic nerds alike that also doubles as a lifestyle brand focused on comics, toys, film, animation and fashion. They recently launched their latest parody t-shirt designed to give any fan a case of King Kong-sized shell shock. A mash-up of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with King Kong, “Turtle Kong” imagines what if the those four famous turtles had been transformed into monsters the size of King Kong thanks to that strange, radioactive ooze they took a bath in back in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s.
Designed by Rondal Scott, founder and curator of Strange Kids Club, the TMNT x King Kong mash-up “Turtle Kong” t-shirt is currently available for pre-order as part of a timed release exclusively at the SKC online store. This limited edition pop-culture inspired design is available now through 11pm CDT on July 25th. There are actually two different ways to get this fun yellow t-shirt: individually (limited to 250 shirts) in sizes S-3XL for $24 or as Box Set (limited to 125 sets), which includes the t-shirt, a set of six 4” diecut stickers, 4oz bottle of green slime “goose” all packaged in a screen printed collector’s edition pizza box, all for just $60.
