Following the amazingly popularity of their Alien ReAction retro action figures, Super7 has taken another cue from vintage figures of the 1970′s, this time in Japan, and partnered with Secret Base to make the 4.5″ tall San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive Alien vinyl figure. Styled in the tradition of classic Popy figures from the 1970s and cast in soft Japanese vinyl, this Alien figure features articulation at the waist, arms and neck, as well as a clear dome over the head, and comes packaged in a retro box referencing the original Kenner 18″ Alien package. The Blot’s jaw just about hit the ground when Super7 released a picture of this beautiful new Alien sofubi figure yesterday. I seriously can’t get over this release. Let’s just say this bad boy was immediately added to my SDCC 2014 must get list.
The San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive Alien Vinyl Figure will retail for $45 exclusively at the Super7 SDCC booth #4945.
