Mattel has teamed up with Star Wars to release a new line of officially licensed Star Wars Hot Wheels vehicles! This is the first time Mattel has ever produced Star Wars Hot Wheels, and they’re kicking off the new line with a very special San Diego Comic-Con 2014 exclusive. The first Star Wars Hot Wheels car is modeled after one of the most iconic villains in film history, Darth Vader, and it really looks just like the Sith Lord. While this 1:64 scale diecast car (with real rubber tires) is cool, what really makes this an epic release is its packaging! Each figure comes displayed inside Darth Vader’s lightsaber, complete with red glowing lights, lightsaber sounds and heavy breathing from the Sith Lord himself. How crazy is that!?!
The San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive “Darth Vader” Star Wars Hot Wheels Car will be available for pre-order at MattyCollector.com on June 24, 2014 to be picked up at San Diego Comic-Con 2014 and sold at the show. After SDCC this Hot Wheels car will be available at HotWheelsCollector.com.
