SDCC 14 Exclusive Batman 1966 “The Delegation of Evildoers” Screen Print by Shag

San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive Batman 1966 “The Delegation of Evildoers” Screen Print by Shag

The Blot was blown away when I heard the news that our friends at Huckleberry had teamed up with Josh Agle (aka SHAG) to create an amazing piece of collectible artwork for San Diego Comic-Con 2014! Inspired by DC Comics’ classic television series Batman 1966, Shag’s “The Delegation of Evildoers” screen print really brings the show to life with an epic battle royale of good versus evil. I love Shag’s work, and his unmistakable, vividly colorful mid-century modern design aesthetic works perfectly with the campy goodness Batman 1966 has become synonymous with. This SDCC 2014 exclusive print depicts Batman and Robin fighting classic Bat-villains Catwoman, The Joker, The Penguin, The Riddler, Mr. Freeze and two villains created specifically for the show, Egghead and King Tut, on the rooftops of Gotham City.

The San Diego Comic-Con 2014 Exclusive Batman 1966 “The Delegation of Evildoers” by Shag is a beautiful 21 color, hand pulled 24”x40” screen print, and has a limited edition run size of just 150 pieces. Yes, you read that right..it’s a freaking 21 color screen print! Each print will come signed and numbered by the artist, and can be purchased exclusively at the Huckleberry SDCC booth #3449 for $500. For those of you worried about carrying around a piece of fine art like this at the convention, you can pre-order a print at the Huckleberry online store now (although it won’t ship until after Comic-Con).
