Today, Mondo will be releasing two epic new screen prints in honor of Paul Verhoeven’s 1987 classic sci-fi film RoboCop by two of The Blot’s favorite artists, Tom Whalen and Kevin Tong!!! I love how these prints highlight the two artists signature styles, yet both make Peter Weller look pretty bad ass! The Tom Whalen designed RoboCop screen print ($45) measures 12”x36”, is hand numbered, and has a limited edition run size of 300 pieces.
RoboCop by Kevin Tong is a 24”x36” hand numbered screen print. The Standard Edition has a limited edition run size of 300 pieces and will retail for $45, while the Variant has a limited edition run size of 150 pieces and will retail for $65. Even better still, for the first time in a very long time Mondo will be releasing a Metal Variant online of Tong’s print, which will be limited to just 35 pieces and retail for $300 each.
All four RoboCop screen prints seen here will go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, June 12th, at the Mondo online store.
