This week The Hundreds released its hotly anticipated Scrambled Porn Collection, and boy does its title say it all! “Scrambled Porn” pays homage to cable technology of a bygone decade – an ever-familiar symbol of the persistent rebellion of ‘90s youth and the constant pursuit of “off-limits.” This isn’t the ‘90s painted across TRL and teen movies, but the ‘90s of American suburbs and average, corner store youth. So instead of grunge and gangster rap references, The Hundreds looked to “Magic Eye” posters, scrambled porn channels, and lenticular art as mediums to tell the story of American suburbia at the turn of the millennium. What an amazing concept for a truly outlandish, and easily dismissed, theme.
The Scrambled Porn Collection, which includes t-shirts, short sleeve woven shirts, hoodies, a snapback hat, wallets and stickers, is currently available for purchase at The Hundreds online store.
