There is nothing that gets The Blot more excited than a killer screen print by Tyler Stout. So imagine my surprise when Dark Hall Mansion announced a new officially licensed Jimi Hendrix print by Stout that goes on sale today, Friday, February 14th! For this design Tyler included multiple images of Jimi Hendrix to capture the many moods of one of rock's greatest artists. DHM’s goal with this release was to create something contemporary that bridges the Jimi Hendrix legacy and Tyler Stout's personal artistic vision. This amazing screen print harkens back to the kinds of rock posters any fan could have purchased at their local record store in the late '60s and early '70s, while fully bringing to bear Tyler's gift of style, color, power and draftsmanship.
“Jimi Hendrix” by Tyler Stout is a 24”x36” signed 8 color screen print. The Standard Edition is limited to 600 pieces and will retail for $65, while the Variant is limited to just 200 pieces and will retail for $110. Unfortunately for fans hoping to score one of these beautiful prints Dark Hall Mansion has come up with the most convoluted method of releasing these to the public. It would take me an entire blog post to explain. Instead, if you’re interested in trying to buy one head over to the Dark Hall Mansion blog to find out how.
