Spinning out of DC Comics’ “Forever Evil” villains event comes these awesome Crime Syndicate action figures by DC Collectibles. These Earth 3 dopplegangers of the Justice League have quickly made their presence known in DC’s “New 52” and The Blot only expects big things from this supremely evil team, which includes Ultraman, Superwoman, Owlman, Power Ring, and Johnny Quick with Atomica. The Blot’s got a feeling that fans of Mattel’s now defunct DC Universe Classics and Club Infinite Earths toy lines will be really impressed with these new 6” scale figures produced by DC Collectibles.
What’s cool about Earth 3 is it is the exact opposite of the DC Universe’s Earth in that characters that are heroes in the proper DCU are villains on Earth 3 and villains in the proper DCU are heroes on Earth 3. So Ultraman is Earth 3’s evil version of Superman, while Owlman is Earth 3’s evil version of Batman. While these villains have been around since 1964, the Crime Syndicate has been woefully underused by DC for years. Thankfully it looks like that’s all about to change as the Crime Syndicate is poised to be major players in the DC Universe beginning this month in Forever Evil #1.
Each Crime Syndicate action figure stands 6.75” tall and includes a whopping 25 points of articulation! Who needs Mattel’s DCUC action figures with these amazingly detailed figures from DC Collectibles!?!
