The Loyal Subjects released four different awesome San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusives of its popular Transformers and G.I. Joe vinyl figures, including this crazy “Dead” Optimus Prime 8” vinyl figure! I can’t wait to see one of these huge Optimus Prime vinyl figures in person, although I’m not sure I’d want a zombie Prime on my shelf. Coming straight out of Transformers: The Movie (the original animated film from the 1980s), comes this dead as a doornail monotone Optimus Prime with the Matrix of Leadership.
As you’re probably away (if you’re not SPOILERS!), Optimus Prime dies in the middle of the film and as passes away he turns gray. The color of the powerful warrior is drained from his body, just like the spark which gives him life dims from his chest. Now where’s Hot Rod when you really need him!?!
The San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive Dead Optimus Prime Transformers Vinyl Figure by The Loyal Subjects stands 8” tall, features multiple points of articulation and comes packaged in a special San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive box. This morbid Transformers figure has a limited edition run size of just 300 pieces and was sold exclusively at The Loyal Subject SDCC booth #5645 for $115.
