It’s amazing how retro cool everything from the ‘80s is. From My Little Pony to Transformers and G.I. Joe, the 1980s are back! Even B List franchises are getting a little love, like Jem and the Holograms. While The Blot may be a boy, even I dug this truly outrageous ‘80s cartoon about a crime fighting rock band. This summer Jem returns to San Diego Comic-Con with this exclusive “Glitter N’ Gold” Jem doll.
After Jem made a triumphant return to pop culture last summer at SDCC with a high-end collectible figure from Hasbro and Integrity Toys (which sold out instantly of course), Hasbro’s doing it again with this “Glitter N’ Gold” Jem doll. This edition of the Jem doll pays homage to her original look from the television series, and features a more realistic sculpt and accessories than last summer’s release.
The San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive “Glitter N’ Gold” Jem doll can be purchased at HasbroToyShop.com’s SDCC booth #3329 for $140. Any remaining stock will be made available online at Hasbro’s online store after Comic-Con.
