For years fans of designer toys have waited for the day that kaNO would finally team up with Kidrobot his very first production Dunny! Well, that day is finally here and The Blot couldn’t be more pleased. Continuing KR’s series of individually released 3” Dunnys is Flight, a Transformers inspired design by kaNO. Featuring a red, white and blue color scheme clearly based on Decepticon Starscream and a uniquely sculpted fighter jet head, Flight is the perfect unofficial mash-up of Kidrobot’s Dunny platform with Hasbro’s Transformers franchise!
With kaNO’s Flight, Dunny truly is more than meets the eye! kaNO killed his first Dunny design and the packaging for it (based on OG Transformer packaging from the 1980s), making it an instant buy for The Blot. I might go so far as to say it’s one of my top 5 3” Dunny designs. Flight is scheduled to land at Kidrobot stores, Kidrobot.com and specialty retailers worldwide on January 17th. 3,000 figures were produced (which is by far the highest number of the individually released 3” Dunnys this past year), and it will retail for $14.95 each.
