It’s been a while since The Blot’s spotlighted or supported a Kickstarter project, but I jumped at the chance to get involved with this new crowd funded release by Lain Lee 3! Slaps and Superheroes is a fun, comic book inspired project with an attainable goal to produce the limited edition L3 “Supers” Sticker and Button Pack, which will include 3”x3” custom designed die-cut stickers, 1” buttons and 2.5”x3.5” trading cards all featuring his “L3” mascot dressed as some of his favorite Marvel super heroes! Lain is looking to raise $1,000 (he’s already 2/3 of the way there) to produce the sticker pack and could use your support.
L3, the mascot of LainLee3Design, is a fun-loving, drawlin', sketchin', ninja doodler who loves to entertain people. One of his favorite things to do is to dress up like his favorite superheroes, which you can see in all of the Slaps and Superheroes designs seen here. This explains why all the beards, since the original L3 mascot rocks a sweet beard. The initial Supers set includes L3 as Marvel’s the Avengers and include stickers of L3 as Thor, Nick Fury, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man and Hawkeye. The Blot’s the most excited about the button set, that includes L3 as Hulk, Thor, Iron Man and Captain America!
If Lain Lee 3's initial $1,000 Kickstarter goal is met, Lain has also set two stretch goals where for an additional $500 more characters (like Wolverine, Spider-Man, Gambit and Vision) will be included as stickers.
