If you thought 2012 was a busy time for Funko wait til you get a look at all of the awesome releases they’ve already lined up for 2013! There doesn’t seem to be any indication they’ll be slowing down their release schedule any time soon. Not only that, but they’ve got even more wacky collaborations in store for us like this shocking DC Universe x Domo Pop! Vinyl Figure Series. The Blot had no idea this was in the works, and if I hadn’t seen it with my own two eyes I might not believe it!
Funko has taken Domo-kun, the adorable open-mouthed ursine-like Japanese stop-motion television mascot, and dressed him up as some of the DC Universe’s greatest heroes. This release definitely takes cosplay to the next level wouldn’t you say? It’s the mash-up of Domo and DC Comics that no one was asking for, but everyone’s going to want to get their hands on starting February 14th! DC Universe x Domo Pop! Vinyl Figures Series 1 includes Domo dressed as Superman, Dark Knight Batman, Classic Batman, Green Lantern and The Flash.
Each Domo x DC Universe Pop! vinyl figure stands 4” tall, features multiple points of articulation and comes packaged in a full color displayable window box. While these figures aren’t expected to ship until the middle of February 2013, you can pre-order all five figures from Entertainment Earth for $9.99 each here.
