To celebrate the end of its extremely popular Breaking Gifs Breaking Bad ARG Screen Print Series, Gallery 1988 will be hosting the Breaking Bad Art Project Group Show! The print series official ends at G1988 (Melrose) on this Monday, August 20th, with what I am sure will be a killer art show running from 7-10pm PST.
All 17 limited edition Breaking Bad screen prints, including the final and yet to be revealed 17th poster, will be together for the first time in one room. In addition, dozens of new pieces inspired by the show and created by some of your G1988 favorites, will be unveiled to the public. This is definitely one event you will not want to miss! The show will be up at the gallery through August 26th (but G1988 will be closed on the 21st).
For those not familiar with Gallery 1988’s Breaking Bad Screen Print Series, it was created to celebrate and honor the fifth and final season of AMC's Breaking Bad. Sixteen of the top artists and graphic designers were commissioned to create screenprints depicting some of the series' most memorable scenes, characters and shocking moments for Gallery1988 and its Breaking Bad ARG, Breaking Gifs. These screenprints are hand-pulled, each its own individual work of art, in an edition of just 300, with only 200 available to the public through this project. Once the edition is sold out, they will never be printed again.
