When Mondo found out that Kevin Tong had created a number of original illustrations based on classic fairy tales for ABC's hit television show Once Upon A Time (more on that later today), Mondo knew they had to be involved. And so yesterday Mondo announced a new series of six Once Upon A Time 18"x24" screenprints by Kevin Tong, each based on a legendary story from Grimm's Fairy Tales. The six Grimm’s Fairy Tales included in this series include Rapunzel, Little Red Cap, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Rumpelstiltskin and Cinderella.
Each Once Upon A Time screen print by Kevin Tong will have a Standard Edition with metallic ink and a limited edition run size of 225 prints, plus 95 metallic Gold Variants, and will be released every Thursday for the next six weeks. This week's entry is based on Rapunzel, and the Standard Edition print will retail for $40 while the Gold Variant will retail for $65. These posters will go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, December 8th, at the Mondo online store.
