Later today Mondo will be releasing “Little Red Cap” (a.k.a. Little Red Riding Hood), the second print in its new Once Upon A Time Screen Print Series by Kevin Tong. There will be six 18”x24” prints in all, with a different print by Tong released on six consecutive Thursdays. From what I understand, each image by originally created for ABC's Once Upon A Time: A Collection of Classic Fairy Tales book, a tie-in with the hit television show Once. While the book sounds cool, these prints are freaking ridiculous!
Each Once Upon A Time screen print by Kevin Tong will have a Standard Edition with metallic ink and a limited edition run size of 225 prints, plus 95 metallic Gold Variants. The Standard Edition “Little Red Cap” screen print will retail for $40, while the Gold Variant will retail for $65. These posters will go on sale at a random time today, Thursday, December 8th, at the Mondo online store.
