2011 Monster Holiday Ornaments by Lysol

2011 Monster Holiday Foam Ornaments by Lysol

For weeks now Lysol has been dropping teaser images on Twitter of a new figure he’s been working on. From the photos I’ve seen, the only thing The Blot could figure out was it had a round head with lots and lots of teeth! Well yesterday Lysol unveiled the final product, and as it turns out it’s actually a pretty sweet looking Monster Ornament for the 2011 holiday season! What’s really cool about these Christmas ornaments is how Lysol created them. Obviously solid resin would be way too heavy to hang on a tree, and he wasn't crazy about the idea of rotocasting each figure by hand. So Lysol tried something complete new, and cast them in foam! Because of this they are very light weight and easy to hang. Pretty neat don’t you think!?!

2011 Red and Green Monster Holiday Foam Ornaments by Lysol

Depending on how these Monster Holiday Ornaments do, Lysol would like to make it a yearly release. So if you’re digging these pick up one or two today! For their inaugural 2011 release, Lysol picked two colorways perfect for the Christmas season: red and green. Each retails for $15 and can be purchased directly from Lysol at the Dead Hand online store. However, these are only going to be on sale this weekend in order to ensure a timely delivery for Christmas. So be sure to hit up the Dead Hand online store by Sunday, December 18th, to get your hands on one of these limited edition holiday ornaments.
