Matt Groening and Kidrobot join forces once again to embiggen your vinyl collection with The Simpsons Mini Figure Series 2! This new 25 character series features some of Springfield’s most notable citizens including extended family members and lovable barflies, as well as alternate versions of your favorite nuclear family.
Fans have been clamoring for a second series pretty much since Series 1 came out, so I know people must be really excited about this news. I think it’s cool we’re getting a “Treehouse of Horror” Zombie version of the Simpsons clan, but did we also need a Mariachi version of Homer and the fam? That means 10 of the 25 figures in Series 2 are made up of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. I think they could have found at least 5 more never before used characters to include in Series 2, don't you?
