The animated television series focused on the misadventures of the clumsy, robotically enhanced Inspector Gadget, his niece Penny and her dog Brain as they battled the evil forces of Dr. Claw. As with most of my favorite ‘80s properties, the show was ruined forever after the release of a live action film starring Matthew Broderick.
